Living in the residence

The Hermann-Ehlers-Haus in Hamburg is located in a park in the district Hamburg- Langenhorn. It is easy to get to the University with the metro (U1), the ride only takes about 30 minutes. Right in front of the residence is a bus-stop and a train-station, and close by a lot of shops, e.g. grocery store and bakery. The Hermann-Ehlers-Haus is a perfect accommodation for all students.

The residence has a total of 87 rooms for rent. In addition, there are 16 single- and 8 two-bed-appartments. The residents share on each floor a community room, kitchen and bathroom/shower. Each appartment has its own kitchenette and bathroom.

Community is an important factor at the HEH. The residents can use our tv- and reading-room for common interests, a room to play table-tennis and a student’s-pub is also part of our community opportunities here. Accomodations:

Regular rooms have 12.3 sqm and have small washstand, are fully furnished and include bedding. Showers and toilets are in the hall.

Appartments have 24,8 sqm (single) and 37 sqm (two-bed). All our appartments have telefon, cable- and internet-connection available.
