Smart living at a dormitory in Hamburg

The international student dorm is located in the north of Hamburg, the district is called Langenhorn. At the Hermann-Ehlers-Haus you live apart from urban disturbance, but centrally located. Driving to the inner-city or to the University takes less than 30 Minutes by public transport. The subway and bus stations are very close and you have a lot of good shopping facilities, supermarkets and leisure-time possibilities around the residence. It’s the perfect living area for every type of students!

The dormitory has 92 singlerooms, 16 one-room flats for 1 – 2 people, 5 one-room flats for one person and 8 two-room flats available.

The tenants of one floor are sharing a common room, a common kitchen and bathroom. The apartments are equipped with an own bathroom and a kitchen unit.

For the whole community of the Hermann-Ehlers-Haus are social contacts and community activities very important. The residents can use the TV-room, table tennis room, the reading-room or the tabletennis room. If you have to practice piano or another instrument you can use our music room.

The rooms and apartments in detail

The normal rooms have approx. 12,3 sqm, are furnished and equipped with a sink. The common kitchen, bathroom, toilette are located at the same floor.

The apartments have approx. 24,8 sqm (one-room flat) and approx. 37 sqm (two-room flat).

Of course every room or apartment has an internet connection and a tv-/telephone-connection!
